This is the first pizza farm our family decided to visit. The farm is nicely located in the country off a couple gravel roads. The yard was adequately sized and it was not overly busy when we were there so no issue with crowds, etc. They have a little mowed walking path and a pasture with some animals including a goat who regularly escapes who visits patrons nearby. We were a group of about 10 people. We ordered three pizzas. The pizzas are large and come with a good amount of toppings. The crust resembles a brick-oven style pizza which is what you would expect. Crust was cooked well, but for my preference lacked any brick oven flavor. It could have been cooked longer to provide some of that "char" flavor, but for the masses this is probably the safer route. The crust is made fresh daily and from taste you could tell. The crust didn't carry much flavor that some other more flavorful crusts would provide possibly from a longer yeast fermentation. The pizzas were good and larger in size for the $25, but I'd call it "Minnesotan-ized" in that they seemed under-seasoned / mild. The sauce is a fresh tomato sauce, but between that, the crust, and the toppings, the pizza didn't carry any of the punch that you might expect from a very good pizza.Overall the experience was nice and worth 5 stars, but the pizzas are simply good and not "GREAT" so I give it 4 stars. Go for the experience and stay for the pizza, but don't go there to have the best pizza you've ever had.
The pizza is so fresh and tastes amazing! Pricey but worth it! Trails to walk in the woods, games and they had also had a few animals. Highly recommend for a nice afternoon with family and friends.
What a fun place. It was beautiful out in the country. Would definitely go back!
Our group celebrated several family birthdays here and we loved every detail! We spent all afternoon snacking, exploring, visiting and playing games - some we brought and one they had there. The food was delicious! Good variety for those who want traditional options as well as those who were seeking out the unique. Thank you, Pleasant Grove owners/staff, for helping to make our birthday celebration extra special! We will definitely be back.
We had a terrific time! The pizza was wonderful!! The music and vendors were great. And a special thanks to Dennis for being so helpful. All in all a special day. Highly recommend it!
